Long Time

Wow, well it has been a long time since I last posted. We have been busy, I have been letting Kylie play outside as long as possible while it is still somewhat warm outside. This is going to be a long winter. I usually like the cold weather, but once you have kids it's going to be hard. Especially since Kylie could be outside all day long and not even stop to eat. Anyways last night was our trick or treating Ohio does this weird thing called a beggars night and you don't trick or treat on Halloween they split up neighborhoods on different nights throughout the week of Halloween it is so weird, so ours was last night and Kylie had a blast except she just wanted to stop and eat the candy instead of going to get more once she got the concept and saw that she could continue to get more she was excited. Tonight we are going to a church here that is having a whole bunch of fun activities for kids and more trick or treating. So we are really excited for that.

Home and busy!!

Well we are home from CO and had a wonderful time. Kylie loved playing with her cousins and they sure loved playing with her. Kylie got to go to see my aunts horse and my cousins pony she loved riding on them. She has been quite a stinker lately and developed a little personality lately that is going to try Mommy's patience. She is growing so fast I don't like it I want her to some what stay little. I am excited that it is starting to finally cool down. Fall is here and I love love love fall!!!! Kylie started gymnastics on Monday and had a blast she also started a new play group on Wednesdays so that is exciting it is nice getting her around other kids. Here are some pictures of our trip.

Leaving on a jet plane....

Well today is the day that Kylie and I are leaving to go to Colorado we will be there for 12 days I am so excited.... and yet kind of sad. I am going to really miss Mike. Also I applied to go back to school and got accepted to Wright State University and was supposed to be starting next Monday but because of this trip I will miss the first week and half of classes so the advisors told me I need to wait until January. So I am kind of disappointed about that, I was really looking forward to getting my education done.

Kylie and I went to the zoo yesterday and we had a blast. It was really hot though so that made it kind of miserable. It was 94 degrees and like 60% humidity!! YUCK!!!!!! One thing about Ohio the humidity sucks!

Kylie is teething again which a tooth just broke through 2 days ago and now we are at it again oh boy this teething thing is not fun at all. I am just hoping she is not going to throw up like last time since we will be on a plane today!

Other than that life here is great Mike is keeping busy at work volunteering for whatever can get him out of his office, he is such a great guy I am so lucky!!!

Birthdays, Teething, & Ear Infections....... oh boy!!!!

Well I think the title of this one sums it up. Lets just say we are not having a very fun time these last couple of weeks, one of the top teeth just broke through the skin, thank goodness now we are just praying that the second one will break through soon. I took Kylie to the doctor and she now has an ear infection on top of it all. Poor thing I know she is probably feeling like poop!

Last weekend Mike and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary.... go us!! We had a great night some of our friends watched Kylie and we went to dinner at a place called the Spaghetti Warehouse it was really good, then we headed to play putt putt golf and we did the batting cages, and of course we had to play the arcade games. The funny thing was we were the only adults in there without any kids, so we felt kind of funny but had an amazing time. Then to top off the night we headed to get some Baskin Robbins, we both love ice cream.

Mike has a softball game tonight so that should be fun then we are planning on going to dinner with some friends afterwards depending on Kylie is feeling. We are going to the Kenny Chesney concert on Thursday night in Cincinnati we are so excited we both are big fans of him!! Well that is all for now. Here are some pictures of Kylie at her birthday party and the weekend while all of our family was here, it was so nice to see everyone and have everyone here for her party. We really appreciate people taking the time to come here and be with us. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Colorado

Well Mike, Kylie and I traveled our way out to Colorado this last weekend. My oldest niece Jordan had her very first ballet recidle, and she was a fairy princess and looked so adorable and did an amazing job!! Then that afternoon we celebrated my youngest nieces 2nd birthday, it was a week early but all the family was in town. My sister held the party at a place called The Little Gym it is basically gymnastics for babies and toddlers and Kylie had such an amazing time. We had been thinking about doing something like that here in Dayton but didn't know how she would like it, now we know. She cried and cried when I picked her up to leave to go eat cake, because all she wanted to do was crawl around and play. So we had an amazing time visiting with family and friends, it was a quick short trip but very injoyable.

Then Monday morning Mike pinned on 1st Lt. I am very proud of him and this weekend we are having a party for him. We are doing it with 3 other guys who just pinned on Captain, so it should be a fun weekend ahead. Here are some pics of our fun weekend!

Update

So it has been a little while since I last posted....... not a whole lot going on in our world here in Dayton. Last weekend was Mothers day and my wonderful husband made my breakfast in bed and showered my with wonderful gifts and then treated me to dinner at Outback. Which some of you may not know but that is how we began. He is such a great husband. This week has been kind of rainy and chilly so I have not been going for my daily run/walks that I try to get in.

This morning Mike and I went on a walk to sponsor the Miami Valley Womens Center, they help women who are pregnant and can't afford prenatal care or who are thinking about abortion and to try to get them to keep the baby. So it is a really neat program they have here so we were excited to do it, and as we walked Kylie decided to wave at everyone driving by on the street where we were walking. She is such a goof ball.

We have been busy planning Mike's promotion party. He gets promoted to 1st Lt. the end of the month so that is pretty exciting! We are having a party with 3 other guys that are also getting promoted so it should be a fun time. We are also trying to get some things planned for Kylie's 1st birthday that will be coming up shortly. We are getting to be busy which I like it keeps me out of the house or doing stuff in the house so I don't get depressed which I get very often. It can get very lonely here sometimes.

We hope all our family and friends are doing well!

Carnival!

Yesterday we decided to go to the carnival that the base was hosting..... we had a great time!! It was my first carnival as well as Kylie's. Mikes an ol pro at them! Kylie had her first pony ride, she rode on the merry go round, and Daddy took her down a huge slide that was supposed to be only for kids 38" and above and Kylie is only 28" so I was scared, but she loved it. She went fishing and won a prize. So all in all it was a very fun day! Mike and I got burned along with the other couple we went with, luckily neither one of our kids got burned..... Kyle and Kylie way to go!!! We are very excited that is warmer outside. We will soon be hitting the pool, I can't wait.

Our Weekend.........

We have had a very low key weekend. Yard work yesterday, getting ready to plant flowers in a few weeks. Kylie has been very cranky the last two days and is even worse today! I think we might be getting new teeth again.

Today we went to church ran a few errands, Kylie is trying to fall asleep for a nap Mike is going to run a few more errands. We have house church tonight. So I guess our life is not very exciting. Kind of boring actually! Here are a few pics I took yesterday of Miss Thang! She is one goofy girl!

Our trip.......

We took a little vacation back down to Mississippi while Mikes mom was out here on her Spring break, they never got to see Mississippi while we were there. So it was a nice quick little trip but was nice to see how it is changing already and we have not been gone that long. They are getting new things and it was nice to visit old friends and co workers.
This was at the Grand Ole Opry. His mom and I stopped on our way back home to Ohio. It was pretty cool to see it.
I thought Kylie needed a cow girl hat and then I put it on her and I thought she looked so cute!
Welcome to the south and welcome yall to Mississippi!
This was my all time favorite restaurant, and when we talked about going to Mississippi, that is all I talked about was eating at Peppers. Their cheesecake is to die for!

This is the Waverly Plantation and it is a really amazing house and place to visit. You can take tours and they tell you a lot of history! I loved this place while we were there. This is our old base before we got stationed to Wright Patterson.

This was at a cafe in Nashville his mom and I stopped at to eat breakfast. It is a famous cafe called the Loveless Cafe. They had some great food and their biscuts were amazing and that in the one thing they are known for.

So we had a nice little trip to Mississippi and touring around Nashville. We sure do miss our friends that we had down there we would love for all of us to be back together again. And with Air Force life you never know what can happen.

Friday night we pick Mikes mom up from the airport and then Saturday early morning we are leaving to go to Mississippi for a few days! Its going to be an exciting week!
